Classification - Grouping things based on similarities
Taxonomy - The scientific study of how living things are classified
Binomial Nomenclature - The system of nomenclature in which two terms are used to denote a species of living organism, the first one indicating the genus and the second the specific epithet
Genus - A class of things that have common characteristics and that can be divided into subordinate kinds
Species - A group of living organisms consisting of similar individuals capable of exchanging genes or reproducing
